DBT Skills Group

Women’s Adult DBT Skills Group - Wednesdays at 6:00

Teen DBT Skills Group - Tuesdays at 6:00

Dialetical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a commonly recommended form of treatment for a variety of presenting problems, from mood disorders, anxiety, relationships struggles, to chronic stress.  Often DBT is recommended in both individual and group treatment modalities, where individual treatment can focus on the individual processing their specific problems, and group time is focused on honing DBT skills.

DBT Skills include: emotion regulation strategies, mindfulness practices, relationship and communication skills, problem-solving and conflict resolution approaches, distress tolerance techniques, as well as a variety of coping and stress management tools.

During this weekly group you will be introduced to, learn, and have the opportunity to master DBT skills. This group is divided by age group level.  You will meet with the lead therapist for an intake session where the therapist can get to know you, can recommend a group level, and assess for how well the group will fit your needs.
